Our groundbreaking “Seasons” Memory Care program provides a multi-level, special approach to help improve the quality of life for residents with various types of memory impairments, such as Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Unlike many other long-term care, nursing home and assisted living facilities which “claim” to offer an “Alzheimer’s” Program, but in reality have only segregated parts of their facility behind locked doors, Briarcliff’s Memory Program provides new residents multiple entry points into it’s innovative program. Residents are placed into different living areas based on their level of functioning and cognitive abilities.

We don’t just provide security and medical services but also provide access to a wide range of activities to encourage social and cognitive stimulation. This is essential for mental health in particular as one ages. This doesn’t just make dementia itself more manageable, but also encourages independence and reduces feelings of isolation.
